Imagine having only 39 days left of something. School. Work. Training.
Life.
What can you really accomplish in 39 days? Is it worth even trying?
I had this conversation recently. I was even told that with only 39 days left, everything that was important should be done and understood already.
I do NOT agree.
Because 39 days is 39 days. Almost EIGHT weeks.
Eight weeks is a lot of time. It is ENOUGH time.
To be FABULOUS. To try your best. To chase your dreams.

I hope to drop a few pounds, have my short story ready and in the editing phase, and figure out a way to get my boy to sleep in his own bed before June

In the next 90 days I want to have 45 more Egret the Elephant children’s poems/stories written!

May have over shot my estimate misreading that as 90 days. I will change my figure to 20 Egret Poem’s and stories.

Wow – this is such an amazingly profound idea, simple as it might seem. You’re right, a lot can happen in 39 days. What can I do by June 3rd? Hmmm…

Hmm…39 days. It doesn’t seem that long, but a lot can happen! We’ll be living in another state by the end of 39 days. I’d also like to lose a few more pounds. Hey, this is pretty motivating!

see I think 39 days is both short AND long. When I had that amount of time left before Charlie and consequently that much time left of working…it felt like forever before I would see my boy, but such a short time to do everything with my students that I wanted to do.
I hope to have a regular routine that gets me moving in the next 39 days.
I hope to squeeze every moment of my alone time with Charlie in the next 39 days…because after that? I will have TWO boys home with me.
And…I hope to go on a real date with my husband in the next 39 days!
